Heritage Programs
Every year we celebrate cultural heritage months through meaningful collaborations with Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) around the globe. These programs—spanning Lunar New Year, Women’s History Month, Pride Month, and Asian and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander Heritage Month—serve as powerful expressions of identity, inclusion, and community.
As the creative lead for these initiatives, I directed the brand systems, visual identity, and illustration development across each campaign. I worked closely with artists from the represented communities to craft authentic visual narratives, and collaborated with internal teams to bring the work to life across digital platforms, physical spaces, swag, and global events. These programs not only celebrated culture—they helped reinforce Airbnb’s values through design and storytelling that resonated across regions and roles.

Lunar New Year
To celebrate Lunar New Year, I collaborated with artist Yunan Peng to create a vertical 4-piece story poster series honoring the Year of the Tiger. Together, we developed a cohesive visual identity inspired by traditional folklore and modern symbolism. From this base, we built a full brand system that extended into digital assets, printed posters, event signage, and custom merchandise. The work brought cultural richness into the office environment while creating a joyful, shared experience across Airbnb teams.

Asian and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander Heritage Month (ANHPIHM)
For ANHPI Heritage Month, I led a global campaign that centered community storytelling and cultural visibility. My role included sourcing and collaborating with artists from ANHPI backgrounds to create artwork that reflected a wide range of traditions and voices. The campaign’s deliverables spanned Zoom backgrounds, digital editorial content, large-format art prints, swag, and storytelling assets used in offices worldwide. The visual system was designed to be both empowering and adaptable—celebrating identity while creating space for individual expression.

Heritage Programs
In collaboration with ERG leaders, I directed the creative campaign for Women’s History Month by partnering with women-identifying artists to elevate themes of strength, diversity, and progress. I developed a flexible brand system that worked across both digital and physical mediums—enabling teams globally to participate in the celebration. Design assets included illustrated spot graphics, event collateral, office installations, and storytelling elements that spotlighted employee voices and achievements.

Pride Month
For Airbnb’s annual Pride campaign, I built a vibrant, inclusive visual system that reflected the multifaceted nature of LGBTQ+ identities. Working with queer artists and internal stakeholders, we created custom illustrations and campaign elements for use across swag, event spaces, editorial platforms, and internal communications. The design direction was joyful, expressive, and intentional—supporting global celebrations while reinforcing belonging, visibility, and allyship within Airbnb’s culture.
2021 Pride Celebration
The 2021 Pride campaign centered around the theme “Proud Together,” celebrating visibility, solidarity, and shared joy across the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies. We partnered with artist Nubia to create a bold visual system using rainbow gradients, playful sticker elements, and expressive typography that encouraged participation and pride across all touchpoints.

2022 Pride Celebration
For 2022, “Pride Without Prejudice” became the rallying cry—a call for full inclusion and self-expression across the spectrum of identities. We collaborated with artist JUÃO to develop a vibrant 2D illustration style filled with warmth, celebration, and character-driven moments that empowered employees to recognize, host, and celebrate Pride with authenticity and impact.
